ESA, MBTA and NEPA

From biologists to attorneys, Swift's team offers Endangered Species Act (ESA), Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) expertise. Our biologists have conducted surveys and habitat assessments for ESA species. We can analyze upcoming land management or construction proposals to assess impacts and compliance with the ESA and NEPA. In cases of vegetation management, right-of-ways, transmission lines, wind farms, forest management plans, oil and gas, Swift can assist in mapping out a compliance plan to avoid unintentional takes and assist with the application and submission of permits. Our objective is to help clients deal with uncertainty and risks, avoid delays, and prevent avoidable cost overruns.

Our professionals partner in trouble-shooting siting challenges for construction, restoration, and right-of-ways along with rangeland management. We offer site preparation, wildlife and plant surveying, erosion control, vegetation management, noxious weed control, seeding, and re-planting. Our objective is to minimize siting challenges through planning, property evaluations, site placement evaluations, mitigation solutions, and stakeholder and community engagement.
